How You Can Help

Amitabha Buddhist Centre is dedicated to bringing inner peace and happiness to the people of Palmerston North and beyond. The Centre is completely run by volunteers and it is through the generous support of the community that we are able to offer classes and courses throughout the area – from those who drop in to the Centre to help out on occasion through to our dedicated managers and teachers.

If you would like to help out in any way please let us know. You don’t need any particular skills or make any regular commitment. Our volunteers are from all walks of life and help us with many different tasks from maintenance, photography, to social media, cleaning and helping us in our bookshop.

Any help is welcome. Please email to enquire about volunteering at the Centre.

Make a Donation to Amitabha Kadampa Buddhist Centre

If you wish to make a one-time or recurring donation to the Centre’s activities, you can do so at any time. Every donation, regardless of size, is a significant contribution.

As a non-profit organisation, all donations go towards supporting the Centre’s activities and branch classes. Our Centre is self-supporting so this includes administration costs, teaching programme costs, rent, power and so on.

You can be confident that your donation to the Amitabha Buddhist Centre makes a real difference in the lives of the people who hear the Dharma through the teachings and meditation classes we offer.

You could make a ‘one-off’ donation or set up a direct debit to donate regularly.
